Scott Loescher competed in Fargo, North Dakota the past July and won the Greco-Roman Junior National Title.  Scott defeated Archili Guliashvili of New Jersey 4-0 in overtime with a spectacular throw from the clinch!  Loescher scored the only point in regulation on a counter takedown with eight seconds to go in the first period. Loescher was third at last year’s Junior Nationals in Greco-Roman.  Great job Scott!

See Coach Stanley about aquiring a equipment order form.  Wrestlers need to order their practice uniforms prior to the start of the season.  Three shirts are only .  Other items such as sweatshirts and stocking hats are available.  Entertainment books are available if you need to raise the money to purchase the shirts.

Clackamas to Host 16 Team Tournament

The 2002 State Champion Hermiston Bulldogs will headline the Bill Geister Invitational this year December 12th and 13th at CHS.  This years expanded format makes the tournament a two day, 16 team affair that should feature some excellent wrestling.  Because of the scale of the event, volunteers will be essential to the success of the tournament.  The Geister is one of the largest fundraisers that the team will do all year and will pay for travel and equipment costs for the upcomming season.
